Vetmec Doraguard for Cattle
Adult and immature gastrointestinal roundworms:
- Small Brown Stomach Worm (including inhibited larvae) – Ostertagia ostertagi
- Barber’s Pole Worm – Haemonchus placei
- Stomach Hair Worm – Trichostrongylus axei
- Black Scour Worm – T. colubriformis
- Small Intestinal Worm – Cooperia oncophora
- Cooperia spp.
- Nodule Worm – Oesophagostomum radiatum
Adult gastrointestinal roundworms:
- Trichostrongylus longispicularis
- Round Worm – Toxocara vitulorum
- Hook Worm – Bunostomum phlebotomum
Adult & Immature Lungworm: Dictyocaulus viviparis
Sucking Lice: Linognathus vituli, Solenopotes capillatus, Haematopinus eurysternus
Biting Lice: effective aid in the control of Bovicola bovis.
Cattle Tick: Rhipicephalus microplus
Mange Mites: Chorioptes bovis
Vetmec Doraguard has persistent protection against reinfection by the following species of cattle parasites:
Dose Rate – Cattle
Administer subcutaneously (under the skin) at a dose rate of 1mL per 50kg liveweight. Use the Vetmec 12.5mL Injector and 16g x 1/2″ Needles.
Withholding Periods – Cattle
Meat: 42 days
ESI: 42 days
Milk: DO NOT USE in lactating dairy cows, or within 60 days of calving where milk may be used or processed for human consumption.
Vetmec Doraguard for Pigs
Vetmec Doraguard Antiparasitic Injection has a broad spectrum of activity for the treatment and control of the following species of parasites in pigs.
Adult and immature gastrointestinal roundworms
- Hyostrongylus rubidus – Red Stomach Worm
- Ascaris suum – Large Roundworm
- Oesophagostomum dentatum – Nodule Worm
- Oesophagostomum quadrispinulatum – Nodule Worm
- Trichuris suis – Whipworm
Adult gastrointestinal roundworms:
- Strongyloides ransmomi – Intestinal Threadworm
Adult lungworms: Metastrongylus spp.
Adult kidney worms: Stephanurus dentatus
Sucking lice: Haematopinus suis
Mange mites: Sarcoptes scabiei var suis
Vetmec Doraguard has persistent protection against reinfection by the following species of pig parasites:
Dose Rate – Pigs
Dose rate: 1mL per 33kg (0.3mL per 10kg) bodyweight, intramuscularly (IM).
Administer Vetmec Doraguard Antiparasitic Injection by intramuscular (IM) injection into the neck region, preferably high up behind the ear.
Pigs should be weighed with either scales or a weighband. Piglets weighing 16kg or less should be dosed in accordance with the following table.
