Chemvet was established in 1993 as an Australian veterinary research and development company focusing on the formulation and drug delivery systems of veterinary pharmaceuticals including dips and drenches for livestock.
In 2001 Chemvet added a marketing division to assist in the marketing of the products that it has developed

Chemvet's mission via its R&D activity is to provide to the end user, whether it be the veterinarian, livestock manager or pet owner, effective and innovative formulations that are easy and practical to administer as well as being as cost effective as possible.
Chemvet in its product development combines the knowledge and experience of practicing Veterinarians with the technical capabilities of some of Australia 's top consulting research and chemistry laboratories.
Chemvet also has close formal associations with several multinational animal health companies and these associations, combined with our own expertise, are being harnessed to provide practical and effective solutions for a number of animal health situations and problems, be it in the pet or livestock population.
These solutions, when applicable to farm animals will be mostly made available DIRECT to the farmer .

Customer service we believe is second to none and professional advice on animal health and production matters is always available.
Very simple payment facilities are in place and the products on our list, to date, are able to be delivered to the Australian farmer at no extra charge to their postal address. This service is overnight in most instances.
When products for pets, currently under development, come on stream then these generally will be available either direct from our web site, from pet retail outlets or, in the case of prescription medicines, from your Veterinarian.
